Ms Rudd, an
Enroute Field Automation Support Specialist at the Memphis Air
Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) validates accurate,
updated automated information for Memphis Controllers. She is
the current President and founding member of the Bessie Coleman
Foundation. In 1993 Ms. Rudd launched the "Fly-Sister-Fly"
forum where African American female aviators are highlighted and
their achievements documented. Like Bessie Coleman and inspired
by both her grandmother and her mother, Ms. Rudd's life mission
is ensuring that children and young adults are exposed to the
multitude of opportunities available in aviation related

Brig. Gen. Stayce D. Harris is the Mobilization Reserve
Assistant to the Commander, U.S. Africa Command based in the
Command's liaison office in the Pentagon, Washington, DC. She
provides policy representation on behalf of the command and
Joint Chiefs of Staff(JCS) and contributes to the development of
U.S. international policy in the formulation of international
military plans and policies of U.S. Africa Command's positions
and policies on all issues related to the African continent, in
response to Secretary of Defense and JCS taskings.
